Marella Cruises announces ‘Electric Sunsets 90s vs 00s’ and new ‘Country Rhythms’ themed cruises to encourage new wave of customers

5 November 2024 – Marella Cruises, TUI’s UK cruise line, has announced the return of its popular themed cruise, ‘Electric Sunsets 90s vs 00s cruise’ in November 2025 and the brand new ‘Country Rhythms’, the cruise line’s first ever country music cruise in February 2026. Both themed cruises will be available on sale from the 14^th November 2024.

 Electric Sunsets is back for its fifth year with a ‘90s vs 00s’ themed cruise for the ultimate music showdown at sea. The star-studded lineup features top acts including Irish pop group B*Witched, UK R&B pop group The Honeyz, the iconic DJ SASH! and Ibiza in Symphony, a 10-piece orchestra of musicians and singers with more acts to be announced next year.

Catered to fans of the 90s and 2000s, this three-night themed adult-only cruise on Marella Voyager takes place from Saturday 1st November 2025 – Tuesday 4th November 2025, ‘Electric Sunsets 90s vs 00s’ sets sail from Palma calling at Valencia, Cartagena and finishes in Malaga, Spain.

 ‘Country Rhythms’, the brand-new themed cruise from Marella Cruises will take place in February 2026 for its first ever country inspired sailing, on Marella Explorer 2. The lineup will feature The Dolly Show – the UK’s best voted Dolly Parton impersonator and more details to be revealed next year. Country music lovers can expect line dance classes, a new country themed production show onboard and even a best dressed competition.

There will be two sailings for customers to experience the adult-only country themed cruises, a four-night on Marella Explorer 2 from Thursday 5^th February 2026 – Monday 9^th February 2026, ‘Country Rhythms 1’ embarking from Malaga, Spain and travelling through Gibraltar, Arrecife in Lanzarote and finishing in Las Palmas, Gran Canaria. The second will be a five-night cruise on Marella Explorer 2 from Thursday 5^th February 2026 – Tuesday 10^th February 2026, ‘Country Rhythms 2’ also embarking from Malaga and travelling through Gibraltar, Arrecife in Lanzarote, Las Palmas in Gran Canaria and ending in Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
