- The TUI Care Foundation has pledged to match every donation made to their appeal.

Following the devastating earthquake in south eastern Turkey and Syria this week, the TUI Care Foundation is raising funds to support families in need of aid.
The foundation is matching every donation made to their new Emergency Relief Fund Appeal, so for every pound donated, the TUI Care Foundation will also donate a pound.
As part of its partnership with UNICEF, the Relief Fund will support UNICEF’s emergency relief efforts on the ground, where help is needed most. To maximise support to affected families in need, 100% of every donation will go directly to the emergency support.
Turkey is an important destination for TUI who send thousands of customers there every year, and their charitable foundation was set up to support the communities in which they operate.
The foundation is urging people to help in the best effective way, which is through monetary donations rather than collecting items, as funds can be directed quickly and easily to ensure that support reaches those in need as soon as possible.
Andrew Flintham, Managing Director of TUI UK & Ireland, said: “We are devastated to hear of the scale of the disaster in Turkey and the massive impact it has had on thousands of people. As a travel provider who operates in the country, it is essential for us to contribute to relief efforts and help the people who have lost their homes and are in desperate need of support.
