TUI UK & Ireland is proud to announce that it has been awarded the Global Responsible Tourism Award for making tourism inclusive. This recognition reflects the leading travel company’s commitment to creating unforgettable holiday experiences that are accessible to all.
TUI’s dedicated Accessible Holidays Strategy team has worked tirelessly to enhance the travel experience for those with access needs. Through partnerships with AccessAble and Sign Live, TUI has developed detailed hotel accessibility guides and introduced interpreting services for British Sign Language users, helping to ensure that travel is accessible and enjoyable for everyone.
TUI Accessibility Manager Marina Snellenberg said: “This award is a testament to the dedication of our team to make TUI holidays accessible, inclusive, and memorable for all our guests. Our Accessible Holidays Strategy is an important step forward in removing barriers for travellers with disabilities, and we are immensely proud of the impact it has had. I hope this recognition encourages others across the industry to follow suit and prioritise inclusivity, so that travel can truly be for everyone”.
The Responsible Travel Awards is run by the non-profit International Centre for Responsible Tourism Global, and the awards aim to showcase the benefits of tourism and inspire other firms to do the same.
