TUI UK LAUNCHES NEW ROUTE TO MARSA ALAM IN EGYPT FOR THIS WINTER

    • Two weekly flights from London Gatwick operating for winter 2023

1st March 2023: TUI UK is expanding its Egypt holiday offering by launching two new weekly charter flights out of Gatwick to Marsa Alam from Winter 2023.

With eight new resorts on sale from today, travellers can book flight-only and package holidays with TUI to the lesser-known location just five hours from the UK.

With the rise in popularity of Egypt holidays over the last few years, this new addition to TUI’s destinations gives customers the chance to explore a new area of the country offering year-round warm temperatures and great value all-inclusive resorts. Whilst Sharm El Sheikh and Hugharda have proven to be popular with customers, the more discreet Marsa Alam will give British holidaymakers a brand-new experience.

Marsa Alam international airport is located 200 miles south of well-known Hugharda, with the airport offering short transfer times to the eight new hotels on offer.

The hotel collection on offer is suitable for anyone, with the adult only Steigenberger Coraya Beach offers a luxurious experience, and the Jaz Grand Marsa resort boasts fantastic kids clubs, making it a great fit for all.

Known for its diving and incredible year-round temperatures, Marsa Alam offers great value for money holidays, with plenty of all-inclusive packages available. Customers will also be able to purchase incredible TUI excursions, like sailing down The River Nile, explore Wadi El Gemal National Park, and enjoy wining and dining in the luxurious Port Ghalib.

Holidaymakers seeking a thrill can also enjoy one of the most famous diving spots in the world; Elphinstone Reef. There are very few places on Earth where you can come face to face with both oceanic whitetip sharks and hammerheads, making this coral reef an exhilarating place to dive.

Richard Sofer, Commercial Director for TUI UK, comments: “We’re extremely excited to start taking guests to Marsa Alam. Egypt is an incredible holiday destination and great value, and I’m thrilled that we’re now able to give visitors the opportunity to discover a whole new region of the country. Our charter flights will be departing from Gatwick twice a week, giving travellers plenty of opportunity to jet across the globe and make memories that will last a lifetime.”

TUI flights from Gatwick will begin departing twice a week from Wednesday 1st November 2023.
